‘Yellowstone’ star Lainey Wilson on ‘mind-boggling’ career moment

Lainey Wilson appreciates being able to speak her mind.

Wilson told Fox News Digital during the 2024 People's Choice Red Carpet, "I'm blessed to stand out for my beliefs. Being there is cool."

She went on to say, "All I've ever wanted to do was sing and write country music, and the opportunities that it has brought me, it blows my mind."

Last month, Wilson utilized her position to testify before Congress on her experience as a "victim of AI."

"I use my music and voice to tell stories, connect with my fans, and help them connect," Wilson testified.

I am my identity, likeness, and voice in my paintings.

Having your name, likeness, or voice stolen and used in ways you never imagined or would never accept is a stomach strike. It's wrong.

Wilson says her voice has been copied by AI and her likeness has been exploited to promote weight-loss candies, something she would never do.

"A lot of little girls and guys are watching me. I want to help people love and accept themselves. "I would never do that," she told the committee.

She stressed that technological protection isn't just for actors, musicians, and celebrities.
